Default RE: EVOMS Intake Review

Hey Night:
Very nice intake, sounds like you fell in love again. Anyway i got my APR chip installed 15 minutes all it took, and the car is now soo much faster , you guys were right night and day. Enjoy the intake, if you want go to pep boys to seek out a heat barrier for the tube.

i think i'm gonna get the EVOMS intake, then i'm gonna modify the stock engine cover myself to make it fit back in, i'd rather have it looking stock...... and saving 200 bucks.

that's actually a really good idea...except it makes going back to stock impossible, but still might be worth trying. I'll reserve judgement until i see the carbon fiber cover though...it might make me want it reguardless.

Awww...the thrills of being a young single male in our society!!!

Nam, that is almost double the amount I pay on two new vehicles with two drivers, high insurance levels, and low deductibles. It will get better, all you have to do is get older and married. On second thought, the wife, kids, etc. cost much more than the additional insurance you pay. Just stay single, pay higher insurance, and enjoy the freedom.

Cheers!

So true...

I pay less than that for a year of full coverage ($100K/$300K), $500 deductible on both my A3 and my wife's RSX. My insurance rates actually dropped after I sold my 2001 Accord EX V6 coupe and got my 2006 A3.

Audinam, how many tix are on your record? You are over 25 no?

actually, my bill for AAA was $3800 for the year........... welll, it doubles because i got that 103mph speeding tickets last year,

so i changed to Wawanesa and it was 1600 bucks, much better than AAA, but still way expensive, considering everyone else is paying like 700bucks for their car insurance. =(

New Euro Car + Younger driver with 6 years experience + 103mph ticket/misterminer + putting his own name on his insurance policy = broke and no Dinero for Mods.

oh yeah.......... i have my credit card to lean on!!!!
