lol u think you got it bad.. try being 17, having a euro car, and a 4pt speeding ticket, and worst of all... living in Jersey(bc of insurance rates other than that i love it) :,(

i only got one ticket for the past 5 years, and that was the 103 mph ticket, but i'm only 23, that's why my rates are high

Nam,

A lawyer just gave you some very sound advice. Make sure to dispute any further tickets. Definitely worth the devil's ransom to keep the wolf at bay!

I once got out of a "dead to rights" ticket because the officer didn't fully close the 0 on the date of the court appearance and it may have been mis-read. Best $250 I ever spent!

BTW, You'll also get a break when you hit 25.

Nam, is that 1600 for a whole year or for six months?

I pay $1140 for 6 months, and that was the lowest price I found after shopping around a lot. I'm a year older than you with no tickets in the last three years, so if you're paying $1600 for 6 months, I gotta switch. Money saved means another mod is around the corner.

1100 for 6 months is a lot too...i'm single, 25 no tickets / accidents and i pay just around 650 for 6 months, full coverage 500 deductibles.
