Default RE: DIY- painting S4 rims and stock calipers

Nice. I used the duplicolor paint on the calipers also. Its been a little over a year and its starting to fade with all the brake dust and what not. I'll be repainting the calipers again this weekend after the brake job. This time though I'm finishing it off with coats of engine enamel clear coat so the paint won't fade or scratch. Theres also an easier way to paint them. Instead of masking everything just take off the caliper and hang it using a wire coat hanger. That way you can get to all the crevices without dripping the paint on the rotors.

Thumbs up

Nice!! I was thinking about Black Hard Anodize(.003" THK) for my rims, but I'd have to remove the tires wait two days then have the tires put back on. You may have convinced me to paint them. I'll just get RED Brembo for the Calipers though. Good job, looks sick!
