lol, by the looks of the crash, if it wasn't his fault; It's going to be pretty hard to explain other than he pulled out infront of you while turning left.

he was going the opposite way of me.

he was going west, i was going east, for some reason he spun out going counterclockwise, spun 270 degrees across 4 lanes of traffic, and spun right into me, we probably had an approach speed of 35-40

i dont know if i should just make a downpayment on an s4, or try to find a 99 a4 1.8t with light mods...

anybody know what the s4's bottom out in tearms of the blue book...

i know that the '98 b5 a4's bottomed out at like 6k, cuz the quattro adds a bit, u think it would be safe to say that the b5 s4's bottom out at around 8k?

If i got $8k from the insurance company, and find a nicely modded s4 for around $11k, then when (if) i ever sell it, i'd only be paying $3k for an s4

any thoughts?

Damn. Glad to hear you and your passengers are ok.

A friend of mine does body work, including frame straightening. He has no problem straightening Japanese and domestic frames. BMW's and VW's take longer. The Audi frames are so strong he breaks chains rated at 10,000 lbs.

There's a video of a TT getting side swiped by a dump truck then rammed by a bus with the driver suffering minor injuries. A local Audi guy in his S4 got tagged by a Jeep and ended up going into a ditch and rolling 3 times. All he got was a scratch on his head and bruise on his arm.

After hearing about those accidents and hearing about the body construction, I doubt I'll buy any car other than an Audi.
