Default RE: Newbie Guide Version 2

Wonderful Post. I just bought an 2003 A4 1.8T Quattro today and this post was exactly what I needed. So being a real life Newbie I have2 things that I think would be great to add in this post. Again these are recommendations.

1. A quick at a glance breakdown of what platform you have. For example B5 is 1997-1999 and B6 is 2000-2005 and B7 is 2006 to present. I don't know if that is even right but you know what I mean. When I was reading the chip info I was not sure what B# I just bought.

2. Aux stereo imput info. iPod/MP3 player connectors and the like.

That's it.

Thank you so much for your time putting this together. The A4 is going to be my winter car. It look great next to my MINI Cooper S Convertible Summer Car.

Thanks,

Perhaps a spoiler or painted lowers section. Those seem to be really popular questions as well.

Chaos, I will admit it. I am a newbie. well to Audi at least. I have some knowledge about V dubs and I just bought a 92 100s FWD. It has the 2.8 and I was wondering if you could give me some suggestions on what and where I can get some minor mods to just give it some extra pep. I have been looking for some intakes and I was going to do some custom exhaust ( I am currently in this process.) I know that this is a c4 chassis, so I am thinking suspension will be easy to find, but I need some help with some engine mods. Lastly, do you know anthing about the mega squirt EFI controllers? I was thinking of getting one.
