Default VAG-COM Atlanta

Hello everyone - Does anyone have a VAG-COM and know how to re-program an ECU? Long story short - my car needed a new ECU, found one that works perfect...except it is from an automatic so clutch in = throttle blip, and rev dropping is so slow shifting is now a 3 second affair. I have heard you can re-program a value to manual and you are good to go. Any help is appreciated!

Did you get help?

I don't have an answer. However, I am in Atlanta and want to hook up with other enthusiasts to learn

The issue seemed to self resolve...I don't know whether it 'learned' it was now in a manual, or I got more used to it, or my old computer was really off, but it works fine now. That being said, there are audi enthusiasts in atlanta, there is a fb or meetup group I have yet to join but take a look and its on this forum somewhere i think
