A4 B5 - ABS error - VAGcom error
The instrument cluster is lit up like a Christmas tree. Trying to find out where to start trouble shooting, I plugged the VAGcom in, but get this error. Does a bad ABS module generate the error? I only found hints that a bad ABS module create error messages, but not that is does not connect at all?

I have another ABS module. Before attempting the change: can I access the ABS module from the top of the engine bay? What has to be removed? Disconnect battery (and create all the associated 'log out' problems?
The module that I have is here (it is supposedly for a 1998 A4 B5). Will it fit?:
