Default P2279, p2187, p0300

Hello, I purchased a 2011 A4 a few months ago and the engine light just went on. Error codes are P2279, P2187, P0300. What does this mean??

Did you ever get a solution for this figured out? I am dealing with the exact same issue. I have tried the following,

Replaced PCV valve
Replaced all 4 Coils
Replaced all 4 Spark Plugs
Changed air filter and cleaned Mass Air Flow sensor
Changed oil and filter

I had more codes to start with but am currently left with those same codes and also a P12A2 which might point towards a faulty fuel sensor.

Anything you remember on your ultimate fix would be useful in my trying to figure this out without getting financially pillaged at a dealership.

Thanks a million!

Mike

Punch your codes into google to get a definition for them - ex "Audi p0300" (which is a random misfire). That's a start toward figuring it out. Reply with your results on the other two and any relevant info on your car (i.e., recent work done to it, etc) and we can try and go from there.

have an 11 a4 2.0 with exact these 3 codes. It has to be something triggering these as there are 2 others here with same issue. Would appreciate if you have a solution to these. Thanks

I have mine on a lease by https://dsrleasing.com/ and I did not have any problem. The car is great!

Sorry for delayed response, car had a vacuum leak from bad PCV valve causing real main seal to blow a bit. Repairs were too expensive so I ate the loss and dumped the car. Done with Audi forever. PoS vehicle.
