This is a very clean dependable car with a new engine and turbo at 88,000 miles. It has 102,334 mi at this time.
I also replaces the flywheel with new clutch disc and pressure plate and clutch release bearing. It is fitted with a new Gates super blue timing belt and pulleys and steel vane water pump. The in dash red DRO is functional, as I had it repaired. All belts are new. I have replaced the rear shocks and the front struts. The four brake rotors were turned, and new metallic pads, front, with ceramic pads rear. I have corrected the excessive negative camber on the rear wheels, which causes extremely rapid tire wear that is inherent on these TT's.
These things were all done at the same time, so, by all means, there should be no need for a new timing belt and tension-er for at least another 65,000 miles. I would say that the tires are at half-life at this time. The cloth top is like new condition.
I also replaced the toothed belt on the wind stop window, so that it functions properly. The stereo and CD player work quite well. The leather interior is in good state, not perfect, but good for the age of the vehicle.
This is an exceptional Audi TT Quatro roadster. You must drive it to appreciate the work that I have put into this roadster. Basically, mechanically, it is a new 2001 Audi TT Quatro 225 AMU Roadster.

Hi Andy, I live in Des Moines, Iowa. The city is surrounded by interstate highways 35 and 80 with 235 running through the center of the city. We also have the Des Moines international airport, which is about 15 minutes away from me.

I have spent a lot of time in making it mechanically sound. It was a good looking car when I bought it. I did not expect to sell it, but, now I have a new project. Putting an LS3 Corvette engine and drive train in a 2007 Miata MX-5 hard top convertible.
