Need a Transmission Control Module for 96 Audi A6
Whats up people!? New to the forum but not new to Audi.
Just bought a 1996 Audi A6 (front wheel drive--non Quattro) with 165,000 miles. When driving I noticed that first gear was holding a little too long and when the car was cruising with my foot off the throttle, I could hear the tranny downshift a gear.
I suspect that the TCM is bad with all the research I've done. I figured I go this route before I pulled out the tranny. I don't think it is a gear issue but I could be wrong.
Anyhow, if I could get a fairly inexpensive TCM, I could at least eliminate that from the equation. Again it is the NON-QUATTRO 1996 A6. Let me know if anyone got it. Thanks
Phil

I have several TCMs - PM me the number on the case and if I have one we can work out something.
