I miss my cbr600.. she was a beast, but after you slide down the twisties over some loose gravel at 45mph and flip over your bike and see your bike 5feet in the air above you.. you decide to change your hobby to cars ! ha

ok so does anyone know what it takes to transfer the par chip to another car? you cant just swap ecu's rite?

Oh major suckage! Hopefully you'll be able to keep her once you part everything out!

For swapping the ECU the numbers on it need to match, including the revision letter at the end. Now some have mentioned being able to use other ECUs without the same number. But I don't know any specifics about that.

if you open the ecu you'll see a microchip inside which holds all the progaming. basically just un-solder the chip, swap them and solder them back in (if you can solder). the hardest part is removing the old solder from the holes in the board, which actually isn't that big of a deal to do.

what #'s......the tuned chip should work in any ecu.

ive talked to apr an they say in order to put on a dif car the numbers have to be the same.
