Default 19"s on my AR

What would be the recommended tiresize for 19"s?

Figured maybe a 235/35 or a 245/40 - prices for 19" dramatically vary with size, any advice?

That only recommends the 255/70 size - nobody running other tires?

The 255/40 is significantly more expensive then let's say the 235 - guess it's the load index that doesn't comply?

well, the load index for the allroad is 97 (1609 lbs per tire), what is the speed rating of the tires you were looking at?

It makes sense for the 255 to be more expensive than a 235, given that it is 20mm wider from the widest point of the outer side wall to the widest point of the inner side wall. Although a 235/40 will have a lower profile than a 255/40, since the "40" represents the sidewall aspect ratio (rim to tread), which is 50% of the section width (the 255 or 235) haha, sorry, i've worked in a tire shop off and on at Costco for the last 5 years when im home for the summers from school.

sorry, this post came later than the originals, but i was bored and looking thru old ones.
