Hi all, i've decided to give up my beloved vw polo for something a lil more classy.....sticking with the germans - i'm looking for an A3....anyone got any buying advice......or know anyone selling one?!

I would wait a bit for the new A3 to come stateside. A couple weeks ago when I got to work in the morning (in Santa Monica) I was waiting at the light next to the office and saw not 1...not 2....but 3 brand new A3s being test drivin! They are sweet! Don't settle for the old model, wait for the new one!!!

believe me, I would love to get the new shape....although I have a small problem....the money!!!
In the UK - the new ones start off from gbp 16,000 - i only want to spend around gbp 8k.....help - anyone have the winning lottery numbers!?!!

But really, if you can save the money or even take out a loan, I think you would be much happier.

I can't wait til the RS3 comes out. 310hp, AWD, and in a tiny car?!?!?!!!!!! Good lord, that thing is gonna tear the competition to pieces!!
