Relatively new to the Audi scene. I have tuned/owned 2G Mitsu's and similar- turbo'ed and some spraying 50Shot or more. I now have an Audi A6 - 3.0L. Got a REAL good deal on the car so I cut loose the 4CYL scene to get a V6 and step up in luxury.

I have looked over the forums and searched and read many posts. Nice things can be done to our cars throughout the model ranges. The question I have, is there any hope at all for my A6 - 3.0L? Are there any freebie or other mods to do for this specific model? Superchargers? Intake/exhaust? ECU?

I did request the LLTek catalog and recieved that. I am looking into the exhaust for the A6 - 3.0L now.

Can any of you give me any insight on this at all? What mods can be done, if any on this model.

No, it is not a Quattro. It is FWD.

Man, I love my car.. but I wish I would have researched more before I got this car. There seems to be no mods for the 3.0 A6 at all.

^^I'm in the exact same boat. I wanted a black 2.7T 6MT, instead I got an Alpaka 3.0 CVT because I got a good deal on it (should have waited)[:@]. Since you have CVT there's not much you can do aside from wheels and suspension. You could get a custom exhaust made, which I'm looking into after I get about million things fixed on my car.

Am still looking into the P.E.S. Tuning - G3 Supercharger system. I have the money to get the kit. I just want more details. I wrote the nearest dealer to my (Dallas, TX) and will call them again tomorrow to get more details.

He'll be able to tell you what it is and what it is not. Remember this is the third and final adaptation of the m62 supercharger on the 2.8/3.0 engine. The pistons cams valves are diffrent between the two but that is about it. Most of the tweaking is done.

I'm very excited about picking one up when i can.

right now the g3 is on sale for 4290.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I am stubborn. I want to add more then just exhaust with this specific platform/model.

On the site is does say, however, that this is adapted for the 3.0L. My performance "blinders" are on at the moment.

The g3 is for the 3.0 which is just an advancement on the 2.8 bottom end.

I spent about 40 min on the phone with Winslow this last weekend running over all the options i could think of, and They have pretty much tried them all at one point in time.

This kit is designed to give you 320 chp near instant boost in a very very bullet proof application.

The s/c is very very good. in some of the g1's and g2's people are seeing 60-90k on them with no issues.
