Default Time Change

Hello!

I am a brand new A4 owner. I just picke up a 2006 A4 2.0T Quattro. What an awesome ride!

I was just wondering however, as I have a difficult time thinking, how the heck do you change the clock to standard time rather than 24hr time? I have forgotten how to subtract and add 12 to the time and really would like it in the 12hr format so my little brain doesn't have to think while I am driving.

I am glad I found this forum, I can see there is a wealth of information here, I just hope there will be some other 2006 owners as well!

owners manual does not say how to change to 12hr time, just how to change the time of day.

very suprised the manual does not give instructions.

Salesman told me it was in the owners manual. I guess I could go check with the service dept. (never thought of that really!)

I changed mine to 12 hour time. I think you have to access the instrument cluster menu options via the wiper stalk button.
