Default New here.

I am thinking of getting an A4 Quatro 1.8T.
I am here to learn all I can about these cars.
I am very familiar with forums, I am the Super Moderator on Z28.com, and own my own forum LS1Racer.com.
All my auto experience is with 4th gen Camaros.
I have a 409ci LS1 Z/28, that will be compleated soon, and should be running 10s. I also race Pro Bracket at my local NHRA track, so I am very knowledgable in regards to drag racing.
I just want to find out what mods there are, and how good these cars are on the auto X track.
I will be using this car as my family car, and daily driver, since I already have a race car.
What are the first mods you guys reccomend for this car when I get it? I want to increase HP a little and make it handle like it is on rails, but still have a nice ride.
Thanks for the help.

Hey, welcome to the forums! Hope you like it here. Mods are plenty for the 1.8t. The first thing I'd do is chip it. That's usually good for about 40-50 hp. Another big hp gain can be gotten from upgrading the stock K03 turbo to a K04. Same turbo but 5mm larger compressor side.

Welcome to the forum Mykdiver!

This is a great site. We keep the dialogue friendly and the attitude positive. The info is well received by all and we are here to help anyone with the need. I hope you find it to your liking as well.

If you're not familiar with this forum, please click the START HERE! link. There you will find a forum vocab list, an Audi forum terminology list and an Audi lexicon list. They should be very helpful to you if you're not familiar with the jargon.

Please feel free to ask any question, but double check the archives first. Many questions have been archived and, quite often, the answers are comprehensive.
