Default exhaust ?

in my 2000, i have a plastic grey covering over my exhaust. If I were to buy an exhaust and have it installed, wil they just cut the openings in the cover, or i am wondering if any of the new a6 covers have the cut outs already and if so do they fit the 2000 2.7 t
