For those of us in the States: the Price of 49,980 pounds (GBP) equates to $90,628.69 (USD) according to Yahoo Finance currency excahnge rate on 8/15/05. I think that's a little more than the estimated $76,000 (maybe it's just me).

I did the math as well and agree. But when I looked at UK pricing on the S4, it was 37.5 thousand pounds or so which points to a US sale price of $68k (which we know is overstated). There must be more to it than the currency exchange rate (I hope!).

i think that its rediculas that u have the choice to buy the suspension package, and other packages. I mean ur paying 90g for a car i think u should go all out and pay 100g for everything they can offer

I read a review in the DuPont Registry of the RS4 and they said that "it road like a log wagon" or words to that effect. And that mag is used to driving serious sportscars. Maybe it is trying to be too many things at once - 4dr luxury sedan/race car- and for that price it should either be a faster and lighter pure sportscar or not have a rough ride.

But what the hell. I'm sure that it is a blast to drive.
