rs6 heat
just got a new RS6 avant (2004) and the cabin sure heats up after a run. Is this due to poor insulation or does anyone know how to overcome this? I lift the hood after a hard run but does not seem to work

RE: rs6 heat
nobody can answer you because none of us have the $$$ for an RS6. there are a couple, though. Congrats on the buy. I hope you earned it.

RE: rs6 heat
The RS6 engine produces a heck of a lot a heat thats for sure. Our garage turns into a dang Sauna everytime you park the RS6 in it. My dad's 2003 RS6 doesnt have that problem with the cabin heating up, although we always have the AC on, I'll try to take it out and run some without AC and see if that changes anything.

RE: rs6 heat
Took my dads car out after work yesterday about 5:30 the outside temp was 81 F. Drove it hard for 20 minutes without turning AC on, cabin temp seemed fine

RE: rs6 heat
thanks for the update. The cabin heats up after you shut the engine and close the windows and go away for a short while. When you open the doors again...whoaah!! its a sauna! Ambient temp around my area is 90F. So that probably makes if worse. Maybe i should instal one of those nifty little window mounted, solar powered air suckers?
