Default 2002 2.7t a6

Hey guys,

New to the forums and Audi. I just purchased a 2002 2.7t a6 over the weekend with sport, convenience packages. Actually, it seems to have everything but the cold weather package and the Nav. It has 78,000 miles on it though... Not sure how good that is with the Turbo's. Anyway, I paid 16,500 for it. Is that a fair price? I have 30 days to return so wanted to get a feel from you guys. I love it BTW, what a blast to drive!

Thanks!

Thanks! Just got back from a nice drive in the hills, this sure beats my '99 Acura 3.0 CL by a long shot. Never gave Audi a real look before *smacks himself on the head* Anyway, I live in Portland, Oregon and I got it at a smaller used car joint. They started out at 18,500 and I got them to drop it to 16,500 so I could pay for the aftermarket 5year/100000 warranty. Link if you're interested. http://www.freemanmotor.com/ Do you know of a good chip for the 2.7t btw?

Thanks,

Jim

manual or auto, you could drop close to 900 bucks for an engine chip (adds 60 ponies and 110 lb/ft of torque) and a transmission chip for the tiptronic, shortening shift delays from 1 to .2 seconds.

And btw, does anyone know, if I buy a tiptronic giac chip, will my car still kick me out of first gear on my own. I don't have the sport package on my 2000 2.7t, and the car always kicks me out of first like befor 10 miles an hour. Thanks
