I own a stock B6 S4, this is my list of MODS for the future
Exhaust
DP's
Intake
Chip (after warrantys over)

My 18th birthday is coming in less than two months and my dad asked my what I want for my birthday. I have like a $2000 budget for my "gift". My question is can i do the exhaust in multiple stages or do I have to do the DP's and exhaust at the same time? Anyother mods suggested for around 2 grand?

hey, first off, i'm really jealous that ur not even 18 and have an AUDI. for chr- sake!!!! well is ur car auto or manual? and dont u mean "DV"s??? well, if i was u, and i'd be lucky to say the least, if urs is manual, i'd drop a short shifter and some DV so as not to lose boost. then with the left over 15 hundred, give or take, i'd call up evoms and see how much their clutch stage I - IV prices and see which one suites ur fancy. if not i'd go for the exhaust. hope this helps. :) have fun!!!! and happy bday in advance.

o yeah my bad, unfortunately it's an auto, my dad and mom have an RS6 and A8L respectively and both are automatic, so they didn't want me to get a manual, incase they needed to borrow the car.

You think Cams would produce better power gains across the all rpms than either exhaust or Downpipes? Cuz if it's close I'd choose the exhaust cuz then you get the improved sound as well. Also I had my car in for it's 5000 service and asked the dealer about exhaust mods and he said that the warranty would be fine, but i bet cams would void the warranty if there was ever an engine problem.
