If you haven't figured it out already, I'm new. Someone should recruit some Audi Tech and performance gurus to be members here. That would attract more people.

One mounting hole on the starter is threaded the other is not. One bolt comes in from the back (starter motor side) and a nut is used to secure it, the second comes in from the front bolting directly into the starter housing. If you need a picture of this starter email me.</FONT></P>
