Personally I'd do the K04 GIAC. I've got a K04, but not the GIAC chip. That K26 combo sure does sound tempting though. I think I'd rebuild the bottom end too with that much boost.

I currently have the GIAC chip and what a difference it makes, and i have been told that the K04 and the K26 are pretty similar, but the K04 is more reliable

David I voted for the K04, but Tim's A4 has the KKK BorgWarner turbo. That would be a little different.
Safe I don't know but it is german. But the Boost Contoller? Unnecessary? Just a thought.

I don't think it's necessarily a matter of being different, I think it's just a matter of feasibility. It'll take a lot of work to make the other turbo work well.
