Chrome Grill on An A6
 

Hey hey...

i was looking online for a chrome grill that would fit on my 01 A6. Bad thing is....the only grills they sell are the mesh grills (which i dont particuarly want) and those chrome grill inserts you find all over ebay.

now about those inserts.....well, i was dumb enough to buy em (wont say for how much, cuz spendin $5 on them would've been too much), and when i threw them on the lower grill (the outsides right next to the foglights) they look great, and fit great.

the problem though, when i put them on the lower center grill, they didnt fit well and didnt even look right. Also, when I tried putting them on the center top grill, the slats kept sliding off and looking cheap. the glue doesnt even hold the inserts to the grill (i'm guessin its cuz the grill is too thick for the inserts)

long story short.....the grill inserts were a piece of shit. Does anyone know where I can get a nice chrome grill for my audi?

I don't think I've ever seen one. How about making a paint project out of the OE? A good chrome paint and a day with low humidity might give good results.

look under cardomain.com i think ive seen some with crome grills. personally i dont really liek them
