i would go for remus but they dont have any HP claims but i love the sound, it wont sound like a civic passing gas. i fell in love with the rich deep sound but it cost like 500 for remus for me becasue i need two exhaust for my B6.

I'm in the same boat! I am coming off of the honda scene from years ago....(PRE FAST AND FURIOUS!). I have a buddy with a Remus on his BMW 328 and it sounds great. I was looking at the cat back. Miltek is kinda expensive but I love the way it sounds. Where can I get soundclips?

i would go with millitek also, because most exhaust makers make them for the quattro's for some reason.

For performance and a nice mellow throaty sound go Milltek, but if you're looking just for the sound and then go remus. It all depends what you want. Good luck!

Go Remus and get a muffler shop to do a custom cat back 2.5 mandrel bend piping for you..

nothing sounds like a Remus

and then you get performance too..

I would also add a high flow cat to the mix..

I really like the milltek on my a4. The sound is great, cabin is a little loud at speed though. The look of the milltek is awesome, fit and finish are perfect.

so milltek still has a noticeable sound change?

Yes, it has a nice sound on the 2.8 anyway.

i was wondering the same thing. i found a remus exhaust i like, and was going to have custom 2.5 mandrel piping done and was wondering.
how does this type of exhaust performance gains compare to say a pre-made exhaust system?
