Default S4 Tyres

I have a '98 S4 that currently wears Pirreli P6000 all round. They are crap and was wondering if anyone knew the best tyres to put on the car? I live inScotland and therefore no need for snow tyres etc but am looking for something that grips well in both wet and dry conditions. I was thinking of Bridgestone SO3's or Good Year Eagle F1's. Anyone got any ideas? Am also trying to keep the road noise down...

my mother has P6000 on her saab 9-3 Viggen and they are all over the road, The alignment place said Nokians would ride a lot better.
