ORIGINAL: abacab I got an email response from the guy selling the RS6 for $15K. Sounds shady. Says he has the car in England, can't drive it there because it is a US spec car, needs money cause he is about to lose his house, must pay of mortgage. Needs money fast so the price is that low. Will ship to the US. I think this has a very high probablity of being a scam...at least in my view. Yeah, the form of that scam I've seen most frequently is that the "seller" will offer to ship it to the US, but he needs cash and can't afford to ship it, so you've got to wire him about $5k-$7 to ship it. You'll do it because, hey, even with the $5k shipping, you're still getting a big-$$ car for around $20k, a bargain at twice the price. You wire him your $5k and the car never gets here. Surprise, surprise.
