Default Throttle Body question

Any of you good people ever have your throttle body ported and polished. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram and had it done. Dyno showed 12HP gain to the rear wheels. For 200 bucks, I thought it was worth it.

Wondering about the possibilty of removal (difficult??)

Thanks to all who have helped me. I feel like I have learned a lot about my S4 since I have joined.

Default RE: Throttle Body question

I've had mind ported, polished, and gasket matched. Post a link from the site your curious about. I have a 97 A4 so the engine is not the same, so I can't tell you the location or how easy it is. A 12HP gain is kinda lofty in my opinion. Freeing up just the tb will not give you that much. The intake is like a hose, if you unkink it in one place (and it's kinked in 3 other places), you really arent goign to notice a difference. I know on mine, I also bought a ported and polished MAF housing and will eventually get a silicone hose kit.
