Only place to buy them is the dealership. You can also buy the transmitter on ebay, but you still need to check with the dealer before you buy it to make the right freq. works on your car. The dealer can order you a precut key for your car that will work. Mine just required my registration and photo ID. The dealer will need the VIN to get you the key.

buy one off ebay and program it yourself. i've seen the instructions on how to do it a hundred times on different forums just can't remember right now. shouldn't cost you any more than 50 or 60 bucks off ebay.

If you buy one off of ebay, just make sure the right FCC works for the car. You'll need to check with the dealer about it.

I seem to remember being able to lift up your rear seat and finding the FCC code # on the reciever box. From there he could order the correct Key fob off of Ebay.

speaking as a locksmith you dont have to go to the dealer, call around to locksmiths in your area. anyone with the right machine can copy your key or generate a new one. they may also be able to get the remote and program it, but it will still be cheaper on ebay
