Default A4 versus A3 Sportback

Hi Guys,

I am a new kid on the block from South Africa. I presently have a 2003 (B6) A4 and am interested in traging it in for an A3 Sportback.

Can anyone give me actual details of the difference (if any) in the rear leg room space between the 2 cars?

Default RE: A4 versus A3 Sportback

hey ringfan,

i just got an new 2006 A3 (I love it). As far as the leg room...i have the 5 door version (North America) and the rear leg room is okay. i am six feet tall and can fit in the rear without a problem. That said, it is still a small car, and i would not say that the rear is "roomy." if need a car that can fit the occasional four people then it works fine. If you frequently carry four adults i would go with a larger car.
