Hi all,need help with my girlfriends A6.Recently while driving the car she found that when she put the lever into neutral,the gear indicators in the dash would flash.She then selected reverse but it failed to engage.The history of the car would indicate the transmission fluid had never been changed.First port of call was Audi who did the fluid change.They also suspect the transmission ecu.This option seems drastic.The car remains driveable but the reverse has a mind of its own.Any input from you guys would be apprecciated.
BTW where is this ecu located? The car is a 2.0SE CVT Late 2002.[sm=feedback.gif]
