Default Remote Start

I am old and lazy and I don't like the cold. I stopped by a Custom stereo shop and inquired about installing a remote start on the S4.

The guy show me literature that suggests you don't install them on Audi 98+.

What do you think.

Guess I'll get a Valentine One instead.

I've installed them on 2000's and it's not bad. As for the Valentine One, I am a full believer in that product. It's more than paid for itself in the four years I've had it.

I literally just got my '01 A6 this past weekend and installed a remote start/alarm system the following day and it works fine so far. Actually went back in to override the manual alarm b/c they didn't do it correctly the first time. I'll let you know how it works. It's one of the higher quality remote starters.

As for my V1 - I LOVE IT!!! Definitely worth the price. Both my husband and I have one and they've paid themselves off.

Vader, here you go. Best invesment I've made for my Audi. Over the four years I've had it I'd dare say it's saved me more money than I've put into my mods.
