Its a 1000hp... How much money has been put in that car? Not quite a fair race. Good, but a bit one sided... Its a bit like an 1.8T with 150 bhp going up against a car with 50 bhp!

wehats your point he only put in 23k for 1000 hp that is way less then the ferraris insurance, plus that is nothing compared to what other people put into there wrx's and get half that much hp.
How much insurance is a 1000bhp M3? How reliable is it? I know of 700 bhp cars that rip through their transmission on a regular basis, plus the cost on renewing multiple chewed up clutches... Its a nice gimmick, and if you have a shedload of cash to throw at it, I'm sure it's a great car, unfortunately, I'd rather have the ferrari...

Yup... But again, its hard to get transmission, clutches that will stay the course with 1000 bhp. Give me the ferrari anyday! Its great on the drag strip, but there is such a thing as too much HP...

BOLLOCKS , RUBBISH, BS, and DOG VOMIT! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH HP.
You can always get a tranny and clutch that will withhold the power.... it might cost alot but will save in the long run
1,000 bhp is only good for the drag strip, way too much for the road if it were legal but sounds nice[sm=bounceybounce.gif]
Cheers... There IS such a thing as too much HP. You have an issue of traction, drivetrains, clutches, etc, and for a roadcar, its not worth it, unless you happen to own the Royal Mint...
