soccrstar -> headers & turbo catback exhaust (11/17/2005 9:12:30 PM)

hello,

atm i plan on getting the apr catback exhaust, but was wondering if any tuners make a turbo catback exhaust

and also, would like to know who makes headers for the 2001 audi a4 1.8t

thanks

P.S. where can i purchase a k04 upgrade. goapr.com only has the stage3 on their website

You may want to take a look at hoppenmotorsport.com. Atp makes a stock style manifold and aftermarket turbo manifold at a reasonalble price. You may also want to check out dahlbacks site. They make some ko4 kits.

i dont know what you mean by a turbo cat back?
as far as down pipes go, check out milltec by stratmosphere. they ar very nice but if your getting apr cat back you should just get their downpipes.

Yes there are many companies that make a TURBOBACK exhaust systme for 1.8t...they have a downpipe and are not called header back[8D] (newb) K04 upgrades from APR are very minimal gains...they have the k04-15, which is maybe (maybe) 10hp to the wheels...it's not very good for the best upgrade for your money!! You can get a K04-23 turbo but you have to do your research on the upgrades you'll need for the turbo...exhaust manifold, tt style TIP, injectors, and a few other things ([;)]) ...the APR K04-15 is a straight bolt on..but ..really the gains are minimal!!
