I purchased an 88 5000 CS Turbo Quattro and it never ran. i had it flatbedded home and did all the testing and funness and found out its the control unit. I searched around the local yards here in the midwest states calling people. No one has one. Does anyone have an Mac 11 for sale?

You might also want to consider a control unit from an '86 or '87 5000 CS Turbo Quattro. As long as the Bosch numbers match you should be OK. How did you determine that the control unit is bad?

I had a problem with my 1CQ and tried to flash the fault codes, I got a 1111 bad ECU. I got two control units from a local junk yard, $35 for the ignition and $50 for the fuel control. My problem still persisted, eventually I traced my problem to a defective Hall Element in the distributor.
