The alarm goes off when the battery is disconnected. SO... what powers the alarm then?

With the electronic immobilizer, sounds like a tough car to steal. Dealer was trying get me to buy lo-jack, what a joke.
If the thieve is sophisticated enough to bypass the alarm and immobilizer then he can probably disable lojack.
Unless they steal your key.
