I got a 2001 A6 2.7T. The childlock button on the drivers door is broken and rear windows dont operate from the backseat. Anyone knows how to replace the switch? anybody with spare parts, let me know!

This is simple fix that does not require you removing the door panel. First you need to get the switch from Audi. When replaced this in my car the switch was around $80.00 dollars. Or if you feel lucky you can take the switch out and take it apart and try to clean the contacts. I would not recommend this unless you are very good and taking electronics apart. To remove the switch you need to open the driver side door all the way. You then need a flat head screw driver. You are going to be looking for a hole on the bottom of the handle that is under the switch itself. This hole is not near the door lever. The hole is designed not to be seen unless you are looking for it. But it is the only hole in the general area of the switch and door handle. Once you find the hole push the flat head screw driver into the hole. You need to push up and in. This will pop the switch and the trim around it out. The rest is pretty simple. Good luck.
