Default Shortend clutch throw

Ever notice how the clutch travel on the A2, A3, A4, A6 is so long? Here is a way to fix it.

Materials:
1 Block of wood (3 1/2 x 2 x 1.5)
1 Roll of electrical tape
Some kind of metal support ( I used approx 4" of window screen frame)

1. Find your self a block of wood approx 3 1/2 inches long and and like 2" deep and 1.5" wide.

2. Locate where the bend in the clutch pedal arm is. (This should be easy to find)

3. Place the piece of wood behind the pedal arm and align the side of the block flush with the left side of the pedal. (The block of wood should hang over the right side of the pedal slightly)

4. Secure the peice of wood with electrical tape. (The tighter the better)

5. Place the metal support bracket diagonally accross the pedal arm and wood block. (Place on end of the metal peice against the back of the clutch pedal and travel acrros to the block of wood)

6. Secure the metal bracket with electrical tape to the new clutch assembly. (Again the tighter the better)

7. Clean up your mess.

NOTE: The reason electrical tape is used is because of its black color that is very hard to detect.
