hope all is well! i have a RS6 manuel and i have the following problem: Check Engine light dealership states that it's O2 sensor related, but this is my sixth trip to them with no result. the Dealership tried "TO FIX THE PROBLEM" by replacing all the vac hoses but the c/e keeps appearing after you drive the car. please advise if you can.

MAP ECU is for the 95 Supra single t66 ball bearing dynoed at Turbo Trix in NJ at 475 hp 425 t. Ask for JR at Turbo trix..and the only reason why i bought this piece of **** (RS-6) is because it's the FAMILY car.. ha ha ha

i went a little overboard on the last thread. i guess you guys(Audi forums) have the same problems we have(supraforums) ,people who do not have this rare machine sign on to give their two cents worth but don't realize it's a waste of time to the members who need help(cuz the dealers know very little about this model). but i assure you this is a ligit problem and i will look into the "lemon law"!

Only thing I can think of is MAF, O2 sensors, and vacuum hoses.

Jestnomen- tnx for the reply. i need to ask the dealer if they are hooking the car up to a VAG fault reader instead of a OBD reader. i'll follow up on Wed. David- just having fun! i appreciate 99a4audi reply and thanked him for it. BTW- do you have an idea what may cause the "check engine"?

yeah, i'm just pissed the SOX won! heh heh, they deserved (sox) it, come back from 3-0. And you're from Mass, i sell shrimp, so a lot of my clients in Boston are being "poor sports". not that i can blame them, it's kinda like not getting laid for 86 years. but i still need this stupid check engine light off. if not "lemon law"!

Kaymax, a obd reader and a Vag are basically one in the same.

Oh I gotcha, an example of a generic obd reader would be something like they use at autozone. The dealer uses a very expensive reader, specific to audi/vw, that picks out ALL codes.
