Default Heated Steering Wheel

I recently my A-6 Quattro serviced. When I picked up the car I noticed immediately that the heat was not working properly and the heated seats and heated steering wheel no longer worked (never had a problem with heat prior to service). It didn't work the next day either so I took my car back to the dealership and they tested the car the next day and said the heat and heated seats worked fine. ??Confusing!! Anyway, they could not get the steering wheel to heat again and tried switching the control with another Audi and it still didn't work. Does anyone have any ideas as to the cause and solution for the malfunction(s) - I am still not convinced my heat is back to normal either!

Thanks in advance for any information!!

Default RE: Heated Steering Wheel

Would it be possible for you to take a cooking thermometer and measure the temperature of the surface of the seats and/or steering wheel, and then compare it to another model at the dealership? I have one for the meat temperatures that would work perfectly--maybe you have one or somebody you know does.

By doing so, you eliminate the question of whether or not it is your perception or a service issue.
