Default Radio Safe Mode

Nice, a question I can answer. First, you need teh radio code from wherever you bough tthe car. If that was a private party, call the dealer where he got it. then once you have the code, simultaneously press FM2 and RDS until the display turns to 1000. Do not continue to hold them down or press them again until the code is in. Enter the code using the numers 1-6 (press 1 and the first number will increase by one, etc). once you have inputed the code, hold FM2 and RDS simultaneously again, until SAFE appears again, release them, and you will be free to use the stereo.

For any future requests ........

You can now buy a special tool that is a 9v battery conected to a cigarette lighter type plug, it has some circuity inside and I am trying to find the plans for it.

This device plugs into the cigarette lighter BEFORE you remove the car battery, therefore saving any memory loss on the radio code and /or the ECU

hope this helps and as soon as I have plans for it I will post them
