Default ABS Module replaced followed by air sensor issue

My 99 A6 avant just had its' oil changed and ABS module replaced. For some reason, the car won't stay running and the system is now showing that the "air intake sensor" needs to be replaced. This has my mechanic miffed as well as myself...any thoughts out there..

Default RE: ABS Module replaced followed by air sensor issue

2 items could cause this ( "IAT" intake air temp sensor ) sensor resistance at 20 deg C should be 1100-5500 ohms,

the other is the MAF sensor ensure they are plugged in?? also check the main air hose from the air filter housing to the throttle body is not split or undone
