Default this may sound stupid..

please bear with me ive just switched from acura to audi in a day and am trying to do as much research on the goods and bads of owning an audi...i was wondering how would i know if my 99 A4 is running and making the right power its supposed to coming from the dealership....im not sure what it should feel like since it is a quattro tip, but it felt like it had no balls at lower rpm's..all i know is that i need a tiptronic chip cuz that shifting is terribly slow..hopefully i will figure all these parts out, but it sure aint no b-18
