Default Crack in Odometer

'97 A6q

There appears to be a squigley crack running from the left side of the odometer screen towards the numbers. It hasn't quite gotton to the first digit yet but I am worried about how this affects the car's title status if it does.

Anybody else have this issue ever? Fixes? What are the rules with fixing something like this without messing up the cars odo-legitamacy?

Thanks!

Default RE: Crack in Odometer

basically the Odo-legitimacy is worthless and the chances are its been replaced/reset "but if not" then check with the seller/dealer, you can legally replace the Odo by a dealer who will set it to the original millage ( its logged in many components on the car )
