Default Where is the Blinker Relay?

Today I noticed that my turn signal was not working. I did a slight love tap on the turn signal lever and it seem good. Tonight when I was driving home with my light on my turn signal would only blink once or twice then stop. If puller the turn signal lever back to off and try again it would do it again. It seem not to matter if it was the left or right turn signal. Once I got home I turned off the head lights and markers and tried them again. They seem to work then. I then left a turn signal on and turned on the headlights. They would blink a couple of times then stop. I think the relay for the turn signal is wearing out or getting hot so it stops blinking. I was wondering if any one know where the relay for the blinker is?

Thanks

I found it. But I had to call the Dealership for help. The relay is part of the hazard button. So if have this problem just replace the hazard button.

My blinkers don't work at all, it did the same thing as yours and now they don't work. I'm going to try to buy a Hazard Flasher Switch.

I went today and bought a new Harzard switch from the Dealer. It was only $35.00. I was totally blown away at the price. They most go throught them like water to make them that cheap. It only took me 5 minutes to change it out too. Just pop the trim off that is around the Hazard switch and pull the switch out. It is that simple. I made sure the new switch worked and it fixed my problem. I am starting to love how easy it is to work on my Audi. Nothing in my Ford Explorer was easy to fix.

Good Luck

Just to interject here... I had this happen too. I took my hazard/blinker out and took it apart and cleaned the contacts inside. This worked great!!! For 2 days... so I took it apart again... GREAT!!! For 2 days...
Do yourself a favor if you do get this fault and get a new one. Taking it apart is a good fix to get you to the dealer to buy a new one.
