Hi trailboss...Thanks for the link. Although the car is new I like to see what the problem is before taking it to the dealer. I used to have a 98 Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited that displayed the engine codes in the odometer by simply turning the key to the pre-ignition position on and off 3 times. The fourth time displayed the engine codes. I went to the dealer and it turned out to be a vacuum leak at the T-connector to throttle, evap, and main vacuum emissions control. They replaced the T-connector. A strange thing to go wrong at 16,000 miles but thank goodness for warranty. Thanks again for the link. Be safe!!
