Does anyone know when the rs4 will be in the US? and is it gonna start at $65,000? and how many are they going to bring to the US? is it going to be like the rs6 production numbers wise? and is it goin to be in high demand, for example are you going to have to pay over msrp? thanks for any answers

I think they will stick it to US customers a little harder than $65K.

Isn't that what they were asking for the Anniversary S4s, with no engine enhancements?

80k is the only number I have heard but haven't paid much attention to the price since I probably won't be buying one any time soon... Pretty sweet looking car though!

That's around $59,500 US, so I hope that is what the RS4 is going to cost here. Who knows all of the things that can happen between Germany and here though? Audi would sell a $hitload more of them at that price than they will in the high 70s or low 80s.

if you look closely, that is the pound symbol £. the euro symbol is more of a large c with lines through the middle. that puts your price somwhere around 88,000 dollars.

88k is not what they are going to be selling for. I've spoken with a few dealers and the price with the premium pkg with gas guz tax is supposed to be apprx 73,500. And as far as I know there are only a couple 2007 RS4's in the US right now as demo's for some higher up Audi exec's. One was recently photographed in N.J. and posted on another Audi forum. And if you want it you have to order it now and give a deposit in the thousands depending on the dealer. They are supposedly also holding them back for a June release even if they are here earlier, but this is only chatter so who knows.

it may start at 73 and change, but add some options. my 06 starts msrp at 47 and after adding some bells and whistles, it was well into the fifities not including taxes. and if you want a high end s4 of your choice, you give a percentage of final bill so that if you back out, the dealer can eat the cost of mark downs he has to give because of the junk you thought you wanted because the payment is his.

PM from Bajamoon:
it was mckenna audi in downey ca and this was two months ago, i went their yesterday for other reasons and it wasn't their, i don't know what the price was before mark up, I was busy looking at the car. but give them a call i am 100% sure it was an 2007 rs4. here is their # (562)868-3233.

Thanks Baja, I just got off the phone with a saleman named Dillan. He said that they never had an RS4, it's impossible. They did have the 25th Anniversary S4 inside that everyone was drooling over and it was stickered at about 62K but that wasn't marked up. I asked him if he could have missed it or not been there and he laughed and said he's been there and they all wish they had one there but no way, and they won't be seeing any of the ones that are already spoken for for a few months. I don't want to say your 'crazy' but were you california dreamin.. hehe What sticker did you see for 88K? Next time take pictures!!! Now i'm confused as hell.. thanks

Around here is $65k, with options, its low $70ks.

They can feel free to mark it up.. at $80k I'd rather just find some extra change and get an M5.

Besides, the M3 will probably be in the $60k's so I can't see them marking up too much higher, unless they are going for the suckers.

All of the launch cars (May/June) deliveries will have the following pricing;
Model code 8EC5X9 suggested retail $66,000
wsr/wxm premium package $4700
rear side airbags $350 (ordered option)
gas guzzler tax $2100
destination $720

That means all the May/June RS4's will have an MSRP of $73,520. Later cars (July & later) will be optioned differently and may or may not have a lower MSRP.
