Bose problem with CDs
 

My Bose 6 disc in-dash stereo has problems playing CDs (all CDs, not just burnt ones).
It usually takes forever to load a CD, then it will give me an "Error 2." When I finally get it to load and play a CD, it will skip ahead during a song, usually about 40 seconds forward.
Is this common?

i had the same problem with mine it was a symphony 2 but i cant say how to fix it.

I had the car a week before i changed it, i put my deck from my old car in.

usually a CD ERR signifies your changer is going south. You can try blowing the chamber out with compressed air. May have to buy a new one. Ebay has them on there all the time.

Sweet thanks. I got a 90,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, maybe it'll be covered.

also does it happen on just a certain CD's or all of them? CD ERR 3 is "scratched / dirty disk"

Pretty much all of them. But it's ERR 2.
