Fortunately all he did (all he said he did) was graze a fender, at least he didn't do more extensive damage or total the thing.

ouch....

imagine the feeling you'd get when the moment you starting losing control, knowing you're ABOUT to crash that car, I'd need underwear...

<<note for blogger...>>> don't forget to begin UNturning, approximately halfway through your next hairpin

And, YES, he IS an Autobahn WIMP!!!

Also, me'N my Opel Calibra (Turbo) useta LOVE teh fact that BMW's were electronically governed at 155mph. It was FUN running them OUT of the left lane, with my blinker on and bright lights FLASHIN' Run 'em down, move 'em over, LEAVE 'em wonderin about the debaged, tinted Black Calibra with teh "American" plates.

In case I've never said this before (hint: I have, about 100 times) I MISS EUROPE!!!

Hell, it's worse than that - on one episode of Top Gear (I can't remember which season... maybe 4?) Jeremy Clarkson commented that each and every Veyron that Bugatti builds costs FIVE MILLION POUNDS (as near as makes no difference to $10,000,000.00 US). Bugatti sells the Veyron at a loss, apparently just because they wanted to build this fantastic car and didn't give a damn about making money off it. Considering that the entire body is made of carbon fiber, I'm surprised the fender was only $10,000!

Believe me - if they can afford these cars, they can afford to a) get them fixed, or b) buy another one

A few million is probably like pocket lint those those people

Aesthetically speaking, a crash would do them some good. They may be fast, but damn is they ugly.

His stories sound like they may have some BS in them......His test drive in the Veyron - " As i settled in and got used to the shifter and pedals...." The Veyron is a a DSG 7 speed auto....no shifter(manual)....

What do you cats think?
