Default Heater Controls

I am trying to replace one of the four cables that controls the defrost/vent/floor setting on my 1994 Audi 90CS. There are four colored cables and the one I am trying to replace is one of the white cables. I'm not exactly sure where it runs to so if anyone have pictures or can describe where it connects that would be great! Thanks!

if its LHD they go to the right of the accelerator peddle sort of behind the radio if RHD its the passenger side just below the heater matrix, an absolute pig to work on, don't have any pictures

See that's actually the problem that's I'm having, there are the four color coated cables and three of them are in right, but one of the white ones I can't see to find its "holder." There is anyway you can describe where the end of this cable goes that connects to the climate control motherboard? Thanks a lot for your help!
